"GiftBox" is a word we use to encompass the entire suite of tools offered to you when you register as a member. There are tools intended for private use (email and calendars) and tools intended for public viewing (Style Files and Registries). When you accept people as friends on ReGiftMeNot, they see the public portions of your GiftBox such as your Style Files and public Registries. All tools in the GiftBox are always free.

Gift registries are similar to wish lists you see on other shopping sites. Unlike traditional registries, our lists are different because they aren't associated with a particular store. You can create a Registry for any purpose or occasion, name it what you want, and add items from any store on the Internet or manually from places with no web site. Give your friends and family a ton of options to shop for you with your Registry picks from internet retailers as well as local boutiques!

We think other web sites do an exceptional job providing these kinds of services and we encourage you to use them. We provide additional convenience by allowing you to list all your registries in your public GiftBox so everything is in one place for your friends and family to look through. You can even create a separate wedding or baby registry that is not associated with a particular store (adding items from any internet location or manually from stores with no web site) by using our universal Registries feature.

The Fave Stores section is where you tell everyone what retailers get your shopper's seal of approval. You choose your favorite online stores and we provide a convenient link in your GiftBox to those stores. Friends and family, who have been invited to view your GiftBox, can conveniently shop for you from those stores and know they'll most likely end up with a gift you'll like. If coupons or specials are available from the store, we'll even show those to you and your friends. You can even mention local stores and provide addresses and maps.

The calendar is a private tool in your GiftBox to help you remember important occasions, like a friend's birthday or your parent's anniversary. You can add details or notes about the entry that you think are important and your calendar remembers the occasions you enter from year to year. Set email reminders to alert you of upcoming occasions as frequently or infrequently as you want and as far in advance as you need. We also display three upcoming occasions on every page of your private GiftBox; now there's no excuse for forgetting!

An address book is a private tool in your GiftBox to store all your friend's and family's email addresses. It's helpful to have those handy when you want to announce a new or updated Registry. You can even associate different Registries with different email addresses for more control. Your address book is so private, even we don't use it—and that's a promise.

There are several fun and easy questionnaires available to fill out, all part of the Style Files section in your GiftBox. They cover everything from personal style, hobbies & sports, pets, kids, reading, music, gaming, and TV. The Style Files are published to a style profile that is part of your public GiftBox. Your style profile will help those who insist on surprising you choose a gift that suits your interests and likes. Style Files help to ensure the real surprise is getting something you love!

Search for your friends by their email address in the Friend's GiftBox section. If your friend is a ReGiftMeNot member, you can request a "friendship". Your friend will have to accept the request, but once a friendship has been established, you can visit each other's public GiftBox anytime once you've logged in to ReGiftMeNot. You'll find a link to friend's profiles right there in your GiftBox. If you don't find your friends on ReGiftMeNot, invite them to join! We provide a convenient way to invite people in the Friend's GiftBox section.

No. Your calendar, reminders, address book, gift history and Registries you've deemed private are completely off limits to guests coming to your GiftBox profile. Completed Style Files, shared Registries, Favorite Stores, and your guestbook are public and viewable by visitors with whom you have shared a GiftBox ID and guest Password (people you've accepted as friends on ReGiftMeNot).

You can upload a photo and create a welcome message to personalize the public view of your GiftBox. Use the links to "Guest Page" to access the add photo and message area.

GiftBox Gab is a guestbook where your friends and family can leave you messages; these messages appear on the public view of your GiftBox. Although you cannot edit a message, you can delete it.

Fun Stuff is humorous, fun, and often obscure trivia and information that relates to gift giving holidays and occasions. In Fun Stuff you'll find everything from the history of Halloween, to recipes for Fruitcake, to Wedding Etiquette. We have personality quizzes, games, and puzzles all in the works for our members. We aren't only about shopping!

ReGiftMeNot does not sell products directly. We have made it easy to shop from various retailers without leaving the mall, but when you checkout, you will be purchasing the items directly from the retailer. Our concierge checkout organizes and holds all your items in one convenient location while you purchase each directly from individual stores.

Retailers and gift management services just go hand in hand. The shopping mall is an easy way for ReGiftMeNot members to shop and add items to their Registries, but members can shop anywhere at all and still use ReGiftMeNot services. The mall is also open to the general public who can enjoy various retailers, or maybe even be inspired to become a member. We add new retailers and new merchandise to the shopping mall daily, so the reasons for shopping there are ever expanding.

Although there are many retailers in the ReGiftMeNot shopping mall, we provide a convenient way for you to shop in one location, save all your items in one shopping bag, and checkout when you are finished shopping at a variety of stores, not when you are merely finished shopping with one retailer.

The items added to your shopping bag are organized by retailer and presented to you when you checkout from the mall. Simply click on "fetch this product" and our service gets that product page from the retailer web site ready to add to their cart.

If you have located an item in our shopping mall and that is all you want to buy for now, you can go immediately to the retailer by clicking on the "Quick Purchase". You'll be taken directly to that retailer's product page, ready to checkout.
